Do You XKCD? I do.

Well, You should too.

If you are a programmer, nerd, computer geek, math wizard, or even an internet hipster(those people that laugh at LOLcats. I think.) You need to be reading XKCD.

What is XKCD? well its a little known(sarcasm) web-comic started by a CNU graduate with a degree in physics who started scanning his old math/sketching graph paper from school so he would not lose the work. Who said goofing off in class would return no results?? Suckers! that site receives a TON of traffic now, they also sell t-shirts, which are hilarious and hard to resist(And I dont even like t-shirts! jk, just not ‘humor’ ones).

Either Way, I am very thankful it was started. It has provided many days of laughter at the expense of me and my co-workers. When you are having a long day of programming, a quick shot over to xkcd.com and your day will instantly be brightened.

It usually updates every couple of days, newest post is always on the home page. Also, they are very short and to the point. Which is great for our attention spans.

I would love to hear from others that enjoy the comic, or newcomers that are glad I recommended it!

Let me know! I would love to hear from you! Till next time….spend a few hours reading XKCD!

And No, this is not a paid post, just a die-hard fan of the comic’s point of view.

They also have a blog here if that’s what floats your boat.

What does XKCD stand for?

It’s not actually an acronym. It’s just a word with no phonetic pronunciation. It stands for the comic and everything the comic stands for!
