When you\u2019re designing a logo, you need to spend a lot of time thinking about what sort of message you want it to send about the brand that it represents. Every brand has it\u2019s own personality and style, and a well designed logo will reflect that \u2013 whether it\u2019s a tone that\u2019s quite playful and fun, or elegant and classy or even serious and professional. There are a huge number of different design styles that portray different personalities and tones \u2013 and one of my favourites is the use of just black and white. A purely black and white logo helps to add a level of minimalism and elegance to a design. There\u2019s something quite understated and stylish about a design that doesn\u2019t have to rely on brash, loud colours to grab your attention \u2013 and for that reason, there\u2019s an element of sophistication with designs that opt for a more monochromatic affair.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve collected some of my favourite examples of elegant, refined and tasteful black and white logos to give you some inspiration. Hopefully you\u2019ll find this collection useful for when you next need to craft a logo design that you can be proud of.
