As more medical research is done, the more researchers discover that plants–long used in ancient medicine–may have much greater power than previously believed. Scientists are beginning to look for power in plants, rather than in molecular chemistry drugs. One such plant, the cannabis plant, is now being used in hundreds of research projects for its across-the-board health potential. While most know the cannabis plant by the name \u201chemp,\u201d this leaf creates more than marijuana. CBD, or cannabidiol, is a cannabis compound made from the cannabis plant.
