When you study to be a graphic designer, are web design courses usually in there too?

I am not entirely sure if web design courses are in the graphic designer curriculum at most institutes. It may depend if you are going to be designing graphics on the web, or for print. In most graphic design classes that are specifically for designing graphics they touch a little bit on both print and web but it doesn’t focus very much on building web sites – I would suggest taking a class on all of those topics if you want to get a full education on the subjects and understand how to do all of the different things at an institute or in online course so that you can choose your path when you start actually working on things.
